T-Mobile Family Plan Reviewed
The T-Mobile family plan has three levels:
basic, normal and plus. The main difference is in the amount
of anytime allowed. The basic plan includes 400 anytime
minutes for $50, which is the most suitable for 2 family
members. There is the normal family plan with 800 anytime
minutes which I recommend for family plans with 2 or more
phones. |

The FamilyTime plus plan is designed for families with at least
3 heavy cell phone users. It is also suitable for small businesses
as it includes 1600 anytime minutes or about 1 hour of total talk
time per day. The T-Mobile family plan has three levels:

They offer unlimited weekend, nights and mobile-to-mobile minutes
within all their family plans. Also included in the their plans
are added features such as voice mail, numeric paging, caller
ID, call waiting, call forwarding, conference calling, and T-Mobile
instant messaging. Furthermore, there's no long distance or digital
roaming charges with T-Mobile plans.
T-Mobile has the largest GSM network in the U.S. As with all
providers, they do have minor coverage problems in some areas.
Customer reviews indicate that most places have a strong reception
overall. If you were looking for excellent customer service, T-Mobile
would be your best choice. They offer 24-hour customer support
and don't put you on hold for a long time like other phone providers.
Usually with other family phone plans, there is a minimum requirement
of two phones with an additional $20 for each additional phone.
However with T-Mobile family plans, additional phones are half
of the cost at $10 per month each. Their family plans supports
up to 5 phones per plan. Their monthly service fee also includes
2 phones already. With this bonus combined with a low monthly
rate, their family plans definite offers the best value.
As a result of their reputation for excellent customer service,
call quality and reception, they are a quality service provider.
Their coverage area is not as large compared to Verizon's CDMA
network, so it's important to check that T-Mobile has coverage
in the area that you call frequently from. You can take a look
at their coverage map here.
If you were looking to switch over from separate phone plans to
family plans, I would recommend giving their family plan a try.
