Product Description from CNet.com

The Sony Ericsson T610 sparkled in both design and engineering, and helped haul the company back into profitability. Buoyed by the success, Sony Ericsson has now released its first clamshell GSM model--the Z600. Like its predecessor, the Z600 is heavy on features, which should shoot it to the top of the tech-lover hit list. Unfortunately, it goes big on size, too.

Most of the functions of the Z600 can be found on the T610, so you should hop over to the latter review for a further discussion. Certainly, the Z600 is close to techie heaven with its wealth of features, which includes MMS, GPRS, Bluetooth and Java. We have to point out, though, that its memory size remains skimpy at 2 megabytes.

We found the Z600’s reception generally good. We had no problems with signal strength and voice quality. The 780mAh Lithium-ion battery allowed about four days of moderate usage, which is well above average for camera-phones of this type. The Z600 currently goes for S$688 with a two-year contract, or S$888 without a line. By most standards, it is an impressive phone with a tremendous feature set. But it pales against the T610 which costs S$200 less and looks sexier. We reckon you will pick out the Z600 over its cousin if you prefer a customizable clamshell.
