Nextel Plans Guide
Nextel have made some big enhancements to their cell phone
plans. To attract more customers, Nextel have increased
the minutes and also restructured the way the family plan
works. They have one local plan and three different types
of national plans. They are quite complicated as each one
has different pros and cons, so click
here to read more about their national plan. |

Something to look out for is the include features. Do not assume
cell phone plans include caller id, voice mail or even text messaging.
Although most providers do include them with your monthly fee,
Nextel's localplan does not. They charge an additional $1 each
for caller id and voice mail. Even worst they made two-way text
messaging a total rip
off at $7.50 per month. These additional features are included
in the Shared Minute plan.
In terms of overall value, Nextel's Instant Connect feature is
quite convenient, with an above average coverage and call quality.
The Nextel cell phone plans is suitable for small businesses and
individuals who can take advantage of Direct Connect. We believe
that people who needs a reliable phone service, wouldn't don't
mind paying the extra cost associated with Nextel's plans.
Overall Rating for this provider: 4/5
Theydon't offer a prepaid plan, but we have separated the plans
